Chado Urasenke Tankokai Arizona Association
Established in 1998, our group preserves and promotes the traditional Japanese Art of Tea in the greater Phoenix Metropolitan area and Tucson.
It is often said that Chado (the way of Tea) involves deep study and appreciation of many Japanese arts such as calligraphy, architecture, landscaping, ceramics, metalwork, woodwork, and cuisine.
We strive, as practitioners of Chado, to achieve "wa, kei, sei, jaku" (harmony, respect, purity, tranquility) ni our daily lives. Today, we hope to create with you an "ichigo Ichiro" (one time, one meeting) treasured moment that celebrates the human spirit.
Peaceful Forest - Takumi Kato & Family
My name is Takumi Kato and I am from Japan. I was born in 1981 and I am now 41 years old. I have been performing traditional Japanese drums known as Taiko for 25 years. Handed down from ancient times in Japan, we are engaged in activities to pass on Japanese culture and spirit to future generations through our performances. The motto of such performances is “Begin with courtesy, End with courtesy”. In 2012, I acted as a Goodwill Ambassador for the “Los Angeles Gifu citizens group” and I am still to this day, an Ambassador of Tourism for Gifu prefecture. I will start my dream in California.
As our challenge is to touch as many families and communities with our hearts, we would appreciate any invitation to perform so that we may continue to spread world peace and harmony. I would appreciate any opportunity to perform at your office or individual home. We would love to perform for communities, schools and individual families. We are not performing for monetary gain or popularity, but greatly appreciate any contribution to help meet our needs along our journey. Thank you for your support.
Animaru Maid Café
Animaru Maid Café was founded in March 2019 by Maid Taiga, a veteran maid who has worked hard to raise environmental awareness and curate a team of activists with a passion for endangered animals.
Maid Taiga started working in his first maid café in 2013, and has harbored a deep love for the community ever since!
After seeing a lack of maid café content specifically geared towards the special needs of the furry community, Taiga had the idea to combine his love of animals with his adoration for activism to create Animaru!
